Private Garden – Sète Mont Saint-Clair – France – 2021

At the foot of Le Mont-Saint-Clair, in Sète, the family garden and house meet each other under the mediterranean canopy of an old park.

In a pleasant shade, the drought-tolerant plantings thrive beside the antiquities and luxurious atmosphere remnant from the original park.

Connecting to the contemporary, silhouettes of trunks and vibrant flora tie the modern home into the landscape. The original topography is accentuated by the natural plant forms, vertical figures that urge our connection to the skies.

The trees have been planted small to adapt better to their environment.

Garden designed without an automatic watering system.
