A Stroll in the Woods – Longwood Gardens – USA – project proposal

This project is a collaboration with Longwood Gardens to extend the guest area at the southeast garden’s limit with the Brandywine Valley.

A wooden walkway crosses a collection of cedars and cherry trees and native underplantings. Both the guest area and the utility area are integrated into the woodland. Views on the existing lakes are framed by herds of rhododendrons embracing the topography of the hill. This low-maintenance area is coupled with a sophisticated exotic container display at the Café entrance.
