Le Jardin du Mont-Ventoux – France – 2024 – Ongoing

The design brief for this sculpture garden is to collaborate with the client to create new plant scenes exploring new interactions with the sculptures and a permanent dialogue with the surrounding landscape. Particular attention has been paid to integrating the works of Senegalese sculptor Ndary Lo (Les Marcheurs) into a resilient garden inspired by the spontaneous dynamics of a garrigue. A selection of opportunistic or pioneering plants celebrates the diversity of the ever-changing plant kingdom. The gardener plays a major role in observing and supporting the aesthetic and ecological balance. This garden is part of an eco-responsible dry garden approach, made possible by the remarkable work of specialist nurseries.
